The Process

How it Works

1. Consultation

Book a consultation to discuss your project. Share your project details, scope of work, style preferences, budget, and timeline for an accurate estimate. Get to know Candice and see if this would be a good fit.

2. Contract

Once a budget is accepted, a signed contract with a non-refundable retainer is required to start the project. The retainer will be applied towards your project.

3. Design

A fully personalized and comprehensive design plan will be drafted for your review. This will include detailed design concepts, finishes, layouts, and floor plans.

4. Procurement

The project will be priced out with trusted contractors and reviewed with you to ensure it fits within your budget. If necessary, adjustments can be made.

5. Installation

From start to finish, the process will be handled to ensure everything is on time and on track with your timeline.

6. Finalization

Review and enjoy your completed project. A care package with instructions on how to maintain your new home will be provided so you can enjoy your dream space for generations to come.

    From gut renovations in your current home or a new purchase, Candice will connect with you one on one to discuss your vision and space. She can guide you through what’s possible and answer any questions you may have.

  • Architectural Review

    From flow to floor plan, Candice will work with you to review your space and create a plan that best suits your preferences with functional design in mind.

  • The rate varies based on the complexity and scope of each project. In general, you can typically account for approximately 20% of your renovation budget to be allocated to design services. This also includes construction management and design work.

    Once project details are received, an updated and more accurate estimate can be provided for your review.

  • Projects can take anywhere from a few months to a year depending on the level of detail, size of the home, and contractors’ timelines.

  • Currently, Candice is working with clients in West Michigan but is open to working with clients through out the United States.
